Le fonctionnement
La bibliothèque ouvre ses portes du Lundi au vendredi de 13h à 17h et le samedi de 8h à 12h. Ces horaires d’ouverture sont conçus pour se caler par rapport aux horaires d’écoles. Quand l’école ferme, la bibliothèque ouvre, malin, n’est-ce pas ? Sinon comment ça marche ? Les règles se sont imposées après quelques jours de fonctionnement. Au final, les enfants entrent, choisissent 3 livres, vont s’assoir, les lisent, les rangent, et repartent ! Alors oui, dit comme ça, limiter la lecture à 3 livres peut paraitre un peu anti-pédagogique, mais détrompez-vous ! C’est tout simplement pour limiter le temps de présence de chaque enfant et ainsi donner une chance à ceux qui font le planton devant la grille de pouvoir aussi feuilleter ou lire des albums. Aussi, nous n’accueillons que 20 enfants à la fois pour réduire le niveau sonore ! Parce que sinon, je vous raconte pas : imaginez 60 petits lecteurs restants l’après midi entière à fouiller frénétiquement dans les bacs à livres, prenant des ouvrages, les reposant, les reprenant……… Autant vous dire que pour un lieu de quiétude où le silence règne, on est loin du compte ! Et puis, il faut être là pour les aider à bien choisir leurs trois livres, en fonction de leurs niveaux, de leurs envies, etc. et de faire la lecture à ceux qui ne savent pas lire.
The functioning
The library is open from Monday to Friday from 13h to 17h and Saturday from 8h to 12h. These opening hours are adapted to correspond to school schedules. The children should first wash their hands before coming in, and then they choose three books, are going to sit, read, put back the books in the book boxes, and go away! So yes, Say it like that, limit the reading to 3 books may seem a bit anti-educational, but think again! This is simply for limiting the time spent in the library by each child and therefore for giving a chance to those who wait in front of the gate to also be able to browse or read the books. Also, we welcome only 20 children at a time to reduce the noise level! Because if not, I will not tell: imagine 60 small readers during the whole afternoon to frantically rummage in the books boxes, taking the books, putting them back, taking them again ....
I can say that for a place of tranquility where silence reigns, we are off the mark!And then we have to be there to help them to choose their three books, according to their reading levels, their desires, etc. and to read to those who do not know how to read.
